Lawyer Profiles

Aharon was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2012 and has been with Herald Street Law since October, 2017. He practices primarily in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, lender financing, wills, estates, corporate and commercial law.

Prior to his career as a lawyer, Aharon studied in both Ireland (B.A., LL.B.) and Victoria (MBA). Ireland continues to be Aharon’s favourite place to visit and he returns nearly every year. Aharon’s philosophy in terms of how he practices law is to emphasize the service experience for the client and to ensure the client feels understood, valued and well informed of the legal process that they are engaged with. Each client is treated as an individual, because no two clients or legal engagements are quite the same.

When not in the office, Aharon can be found on a playground or at an ice cream shop with his beautiful daughter.

Kristin graduated from UVIC Law in 1990 and was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 1991. She has been practicing in Victoria ever since, starting her own firm, Herald Street Law, in 2004. Kristin's areas of practice focus on residential real estate and mortgages, commercial real estate and lending, as well as incapacity and estate planning encompassing wills, enduring powers of attorney and health care representation agreements. Kristin serves a large existing client base and new clients by referral. Kristin has always emphasized a common sense, practical approach to her client's legal needs while ensuring costs remain reasonable. A measure of her success is that her clients routinely refer their family and friends.

Kristin has island roots, growing up in the Cowichan Valley on a rural farm. She enjoys outdoor activities, sports and travel. Kristin has voluntarily served on various boards in the community over the years and often advocates for the elderly on her own time.

Chanelle attended law school at the University of Victoria, and ever since has called the island her home. She was called to the Bar of British Columbia in February 2020, and joined Herald Street Law in May 2022. She practices mainly in estate and incapacity planning, estate administration, and real estate. She is a volunteer director of the Victoria Bar Association and the Young Lawyers section of the Canadian Bar Association.

Chanelle values clear communication, and strives to ensure her clients always know the next step in the progress of their files. She takes a compassionate approach to law, accepting without judgement that everyone's situation is unique. She enjoys collaborating with clients to find creative solutions to their goals.

Most days after work Chanelle may be found gardening. She also enjoys many hobbies: pyrography, baking, softball, board games and hiking.
